Some great terminology relating to graphic design and video production has been covered the last month:
INTRO TO PHOTOSHOP:
Adobe Photoshop- Software used for photo and graphic design
Pixels- Dots that make up an image
Common Functions- Resizing, cropping, adjusting brightness, add text
Resolution- The size of a document measured in pixels
Color- 2 types- RGB- red, green, blue CMYK- cyan, magenta, yellow, black
File formats- .PSD- Photoshop format .JPG-Picture format
Layers- Allows to "stack and build" images and text on top of one another
Tool Box- Area where tools are located for editing
Students completed Photoshop Projects #1-#4 to enhance their photoshop skills. They also created a digital advertisement to promote a product of their choice to show their knowledge of photoshop tools learned so far.
