Using a DSLR for video production

Students will watch a video tutorial that will give them a better understanding of how to set-up a DSLR for video recording.

Some advice before working on a video project:

1. Positive Attitude

2. Use various online resources for information

3. Make sure you are telling a Story, Audio is of high quality, Lighting is set up properly

4. Recreate other projects for practice

5. Feel free to film a wide variety of projects for experience

6. Always have a plan- Pre-Production, Storyboarding, Script

7. Just Do It! Don't worry about equipment limitations, not having enough gear, ect...

8. Make sure to get permission to film at various locations

9. Edit to make shorter

10. Don't be discouraged
