Intro to Adobe Premiere

Students will learn how to open and create a new video editing project in Premiere, explore the workspace, and import assets.

Do Now: What is a video montage? Please write what you think the definition of a video montage is.

Some terms we need to know:

Adobe Premiere- Professional video editing program allows to edit video, audio, graphics.

Video Montage- A video created with various assets

Application Window- Main window with various panels

Workspace- Arrangement of panels in software

Assets- Video, Photo, Audio Clips- Import to edit

Timeline- Where assets are edited, put together, Also called a Sequence.
