Photoshop Project #2

Students watched an instructional video on some other very useful and important tools in Photoshop to create edits to four photos. The following tools were used:

-Spot Healing Brush Tool

-Adjustment Layer to brighten the lighting of a photo

-Crop and Filter tool

-Lasso Tool to select and remove an item from a photo

Here is an example of the Lasso Tool in action! We want to remove the light stand from the photo below... We can do that using the Lasso Select Tool! After outlining the lightstand and gear, we are able to hold down the Shift + Delete keys and perform a "Content-Aware" fill, which takes the pixels surrounding the lightstand and magically makes the lightstand dissappear!
