In our first week of class, you heard about my background and experience in the Media Arts Industry and we went over all the studio rules and procedures. I designed these posters in Adobe Photoshop and printed them out at the Media Arts Lab at PCTA (Providence Career and Technical Academy) Please obey the rules and procedures at all times in Media Arts Class! :)
We also talked a lot about what the term "Digital Media" means and the different equipment that we will be using in class this year. What equipment or software are you looking forward to using the most? For me, I look forward to teaching all aspects of Digital Media Production to all 6, 7 and 8th grade students!
You will be learning all aspects of digital video production, how to operate the DSLR camera, tripod and lighting. You will also learn how to use Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop to edit video/photo projects and you will also know how to utilize the green screen technology for special effects and Chroma Keying!
